I modified into reminded of one thing valuable this week as I modified into reading: we don’t stroll this route alone, however we beget a God who is willing to run alongside us and picks us up love a loving Father when we’re struggling. I modified into reminded of this passage in Isaiah 40: 11:

“He tends his flock love a shepherd:

He gathers the lambs in his hands

and gently carries them end to his heart;

He gently leads these that beget younger.”

As I’ve walked via this season, this has been a broad fact I’ve wished to pick out on to. I love every time in the Bible where it talks about God as a shepherd.  Because a shepherd in these instances modified into devoted entirely to caring for and nurturing their flock, even to the level of combating off the bears and lions that tried to hurt the sheep. This dedication modified into a beautiful combination of compassion, energy, and a willingness to are residing throughout the mess and dirt that came with residing with a bunch of livestock. A shepherd wasn’t panicked of the mess. He cherished the sheep with all his heart and fought tenaciously for them.

And this passage in Isaiah reflects this so successfully. He picks up the lambs in hands, carries them gently next to his heart. He gently leads them. It modified into a reminder for me that no subject how tousled I may perhaps presumably be, no subject how badly I blow it, no subject how deep the stain of my war, God is willing to seize me up, preserve me end to his heart, and gently lead me as I stroll this route.

Our Savior Jesus, himself, acknowledged that he’s the Appropriate Shepherd that lays down his lifestyles for the sheep.

Amid the total craziness, we beget the probability this week to level these that will likely be coming in the door of Celebrate Recovery to that very same Shepherd. We salvage to level them against his therapeutic, his hope, and his willingness to enter into our mess.
